  SALVATION SALVATION Your decision to trust Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important decision you could ever make. It will take some time for you to fully understand the significance of what has happened in your life. The purpose of this lesson is to briefly explain what took place the moment you were saved and how your  relationship   with God has changed. There are TWO spiritual families in the world: the family of Adam and the family of God. Every person on earth belongs to ONE of these families. Prior to salvation, we were “in Adam”; by natural birth, members of Adam’s family.                        Adam, the first man, was made in the image of God and was called  “the son of God”  (Luke 3:38) but when he sinned against the Lord, he  died spiritually  Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:6-7, and became  separated   from his Father. Consider Genesis 3:23, 24. The descendants of Adam were not born in the image of God, but in Adam’s fallen, sinful image.  Genesis 5:3.  Because
